A wonderful blend of all natural ingredients to counter- act body odor. I have had difficulty finding an effective, all-day natural product so I decided to make my own. Since this works quite well for
me, I decided to add it to my product line.
Although grapeseed oil has a slight astringent effect, this is formu- lated as a de-odorant rather than an anti-perspirant. The sodium bicarbonate and arrowroot powder do provide some moisture absorbing benefits.
In two sizes -- Small: 0.5 ounces (in tests, this size lasted nearly 4 weeks); Large: 2.5 ounces (Vegan & Vegetarian-Friendly)NOTE: These particular essential oils have antibacterial properties that contribute to this product's effectiveness. Therefore, Totally Naked
may be a less effective choice for many people. It is recommended that
you start with the small size to determine if this is true for you.
Also, if you've been using commercial deodorant preparations, it can
take several days for your body to adjust to the natural formula in
this product. For added protection during this transition, you can
supplement with additional sodium bicarbonate. Start by simply placing
a tiny amount of baking soda in your hand and gently rub or pat it over the
freshly-applied deodorant. This will provide additional protection during this
changeover. Baking soda can also be added any time throughout the day.
Of course, if irritation develops, discontinue use or decrease the amount of baking soda added.
In two fragrances:
Original (Lavender, Tea Tree & Lemon essential oils) and Totally Naked (unscented).
Grapeseed oil (contains chlorophyll, a natural deodorizer), Candelilla wax, Soy wax, sodium bicarbonate, arrowroot powder, respective essential oils and Rosemary oleo resin (preservative).
NO propylene glycol, NO parabens, NO aluminum chlorhydrate. (Aluminum levels have been linked to Alzheimers disease and aluminium has been found in breast cancer tissue.)
